![]() About 5 minutes after hitting start, I had the concept (Rabbids show up in a washing machine, SupaMerge combines Rabbids with Mario stuff in the inventor's house, in-universe Mario has to help a roomba save the world). This game doesn't waste much, if any, time getting into the meat. My concerns with the Rabbids and the whimsical nature of Mario Games that led me to believe the game would be really easy was outweighed by my desire to play another strategy game, since playing through Final Fantasy Tactics Advance again made me itch for more. Seeing those two stars align, I bought it. Then, I saw a series of posts on different subs pointing out that Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle went on sale for ~$15 with the DLC, and that it was worth every cent. Well recently, someone made a comment in this sub stating that the essence of a patient gamer is someone who waits for the GOTY edition of a game with all of the DLC to go on sale which resonated with me. ![]() Reviews came out that were glowing, and I said "not for me". It was too expensive for what I was worried it would be, so I passed. I liked SRPG's and TRPG's, but I had never tried out the XCOM games. ![]() When it came out, I thought it looked weird. To preface this, I'll elaborate on why I wasn't going to play it.
